It's for writers, creators, directors, producers... really anyone trying to bring something real and good into the world while keeping the joy alive.

Who am I?

Oh yeah, hi! I'm Jason Tammemagi, although most people call me Jay. I've been telling stories for close to three decades - sometimes writing, sometimes directing, sometimes producing. Sometimes I dream up whole worlds and characters, then help build the teams and systems that bring them to life.

Along the way, I've:

Directed classics like Roobarb & Custard

Created my own shows like Fluffy Gardens

Co-wrote and produced Screecher's Reach for Star Wars: Visions

Led studios and guided hundreds of episodes through production, building workflows and mentoring talent along the way

These days, I work with the incredible talented people at Cartoon Saloon, helping big ideas find their way to the screen. My job is part creative, part leadership, part troubleshooting. But always, whatever the project, it comes down to one thing:

Protecting the heart of the story.
